The hemocue statspin cytofuge 2 prepares your slides in a rapid and simple way through centrifugal force. This is a microprocessor-controlled cell preparation system hat concentrates cells onto your microscope slides. The controls are easy to use and filter concentrators are snap-seal for simple operation. Samples are conveniently processed in a quick and quiet way. The statspin cytofuge 2 can process a complete range of body fluids such as pleural fluids, sputum, urine, synovial fluids, pericardial fluids, fine needle aspirates, bronchial washings, peritoneal fluids and cerebrospinal fluids. The device includes a unique hinged backing plate and an integral filter card that can absorb fluid at a controlled rate during the spin cycle. The rotor for the cytofuge 2 can hold up to four slides. It spins at a max rpm of 4400 with a force of 1060 g. Preset operating times set at 2, 3, 6, 8, 10 and 30 minutes.
