The kit also includes a serial dilator with incorporated peel-away sheath to facilitate procedural efficiency and eliminate the need for multiple exchange. Pre-loaded safety needles help to protect health care workers from inadvertent or accidental needle sticks. Lastly, the kit includes an over-the-wire stoma measuring device to more accurately measure the stoma length ensuring a proper tube fit and to enhance patient comfort. Clinicians can choose from a variety of diameters and dilator sizings. The kit comes EO sterilized.
