The advanced extrusion process of the nylon molecule gives the suture: Uniform diameter; maximum flexibility of the strand; excellent security with snug and flattened knots; minimal memory excellent and consistent knotting strength. Monosof monofilament nylon sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological surgery.
