Extraoral dental suction system designed to absorb aerosols and droplets from the patient's oral cavity to help reduce exposure during dental procedures. The system uses a suction mouthpiece hood and incorporates an F8 fine filter and an H14 HEPA filter. The H14 HEPA filter is specified at 99.995% filtration efficiency for particles ≥0.3 µm.
The filtration system incorporates a 254 nm UV-C light positioned at the HEPA filter. The filtration components, suction motor, and UV-C light are housed together within the system's filtration module. Filtered, dry air is exhausted from the cabinet.
The EOS provides 10 adjustable suction levels, with airflow of 105 CFM and suction power of 23 kPa. Levels 1–3 are designated for air-purification operation, while levels 4–10 are used for capturing aerosols, droplets, bacteria, and splashing blood. The system includes a digital display for suction-level control and monitoring of HEPA filter life.
Noise Reduction Suction Arm: The EOS II is equipped with a noise-reduction suction arm that reduces noise by approximately 6–7 dB, thereby reducing high-frequency noise. The latest joint design can be adjusted to multiple angles, providing greater flexibility and convenience during use.
