The successful completion of high performance soft relines requires the use of the correct set of instruments and polishes, in the correct sequence, to obtain the highest quality results. Step 1 – Reduction: SoftGrind™ Grinding Sleeves
After removing gross amounts of excess material with scissors or a sharp blade, SoftGrind Grinding Sleeves are the ideal instruments for all-purpose trimming and finishing of the surfaces of soft reline materials. The 5/16” OD x ½” Long friction-fit grinding sleeves with angled tip are specially designed to grind quickly and smoothly without clogging, and may be disposed after use. The reusable rubber-tipped sleeve-holder is mounted on a convenient 3/32” diameter straight HP mandrel (with 1½” gripping length) and is easy and convenient to use.
